York Ag is an authorized distributor of Poultry Shield FG, a high purity, feed grade, granular sulfur to aid in control of ammonia emissions in poultry houses by reducing the pH of the litter. Poultry Shield FG is a 99% pure elemental sulfur that has been manufactured to complement the advanced feed milling technology used in today’s agriculture. The sulfur has been prilled to enhance mixing and reduce dust in the process.
Poultry Shield FG can be effectively used to reduce harmful effects of Northern Fowl Mites in commercial laying hens and backyard flocks and ammonia emissions in poultry houses. It is one of the few products labeled for Northern Fowl Mite management in laying hens.
