Designed for practicing nutritionists who work directly with beef cattle producers, this comprehensive one-day program will explore key nutritional strategies for fed cattle. Topics include rumen fermentation, backgrounding practices, and practical tools for feedlot operations. The agenda reflects input from Pennsylvania’s beef industry and provides attendees with research-driven insights from respected thought leaders.

Featured speakers include Dr. Todd Callaway of the University of Georgia and Dr. Nicolas DiLorenzo of the University of Florida, both recognized for their contributions to ruminant nutrition research.

“As an advocate for responsible and efficient animal nutrition, we’re proud to support an event that fosters innovation and collaboration in the beef sector,” said Dan McNally, Head of Sales and Marketing at York Ag. “Bringing experts and producers together helps strengthen the entire supply chain.”

York Ag believes Everyone Deserves a Nutritious Meal®. It offers a variety of feed ingredients and bedding amendments, including its proprietary BOVAZYME® enzyme additive. BOVAZYME® is designed to enhance protein and fat digestion while supporting the breakdown of otherwise inaccessible carbohydrates, helping producers get more value from the same nutritional inputs.

“Workshops like this empower nutritionists with the science and tools they need to support healthier, more productive herds,” said Bill Achor, President and CEO of York Ag. “We’re excited to be part of that conversation.”

York Ag also distributes national and international feed ingredient brands, including the KENDER® line of botanical-based and essential oil products for cattle feeds—available in both conventional and organic formulations. Additionally, the company is an authorized distributor of globally recognized yeast-based additives such as Hilyses®, IMW50®, and RYeast40®, widely used for gut and stress support in livestock.

“Our partnership with industry innovators helps bring practical, natural solutions to farms across the region,” said Achor. “Events like this allow us to listen, learn, and serve producers better.”
