We are currently looking for an Operations and Support Specialist to join our dynamic, growing company.

Job Overview

This position will primarily focus on order fulfillment (from order receipt to invoicing), production and shipment logistics, and managing inbound customer inquiries and requests. They will work closely with Operations Support and Customer Care Specialist to assist with general troubleshooting and tasks that directly contribute to a positive customer experience. As time allows, they may expand into some targeted outreach to specific product or customer segments and will, as needed, direct opportunities to Territory Sales Representative for additional follow up. They may assist with marketing materials, communication, and associated paperwork.

This role is based out of York, PA headquarters where all team members interact with one another in various functions and responsibilities to ensure the highest possible level of customer service at all times. During onboarding this individual may be required to spend 80+% of time in office, with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid role based on performance of job duties. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complete order fulfillment tasks including receipt of orders, entry into ERP system, shipment, invoicing, etc.
  • Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders and related transactions
  • Compile, organize and respond to inbound inquiries and direct as needed to sales team
  • Must develop sufficient understanding of product portfolio in order to respond to inbound inquiries and provide basic customer education
  • Help develop and maintain company records of pertinent information
  • Assist with management of compliance activities, including but not limited to: Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requirements, Certificate of Analysis (COA) requests, organic review requests and 3rd party audit requests
  • Help support York Ag’s pricing process, including communication with vendors and customers as required
  • Collaborate with sales team to provide necessary supporting information and documentation as needed
  • Lead targeted outreach to customers and/or prospects for specific product lines or segments
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as great perception and listening ability needed.
  • Individual should possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload and manage their time effectively.
  • A successful candidate will have a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, high level of expertise with computers, data entry, and various software programs.
  • Must be self-confident, eager, and have a desire to continually learn and grow.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience and/or education in Agribusiness, Animal Science, or related field preferred.
